Solution 2: Removing of Paper Jammed inside the Machine
Step 1: Unplug your Brother Printer from the AC Power Outlet.
Step 2: Close the Paper Support Flap and pull the Paper Tray completely out of the printer.
Step 3: Pull two green levers to release the jammed papers.
Step 4: Lift the Scanner cover by placing your both hands on the both sides under the plastic tabs of the machine. Check whether the jammed paper is in the left corner of the machine or not.
Step 5: Check if the jammed papers have been removed from the opening front or not. If the jammed papers inside the printer cannot be removed, insert a thick A4 sized glossy paper through the opening front of the printer.
Step 6: If the jammed paper inside the printer can be removed, release the lock by lifting scanner cover and then gently place back the Scanner cover using both hands.
Step 7: After step 5; push out the jammed paper by the paper you inserted.
Step 8: Remove the inserted paper from the opening front of the printer.
Step 9: Open the Jam Clear Cover at the back of the machine
Step 10: Follow the steps 5, 7 and 8 and thus close the Jam Clear Cover correctly.
Step 11: Release the lock by lifting scanner cover. Then gently place back the Scanner cover using both hands.
Step 12: Put back the paper tray firmly into the machine
Step 13: Pull out the paper support while holding the paper tray until it clicks. Then unfold the paper support flap.
Step 14: Plug back the power cord back into the AC power outlet.
